In any time of tragedy or crisis, whether it be on an individual or a global scale, spirit is asking us to go deeper within to embody the "Wholeness" of who we truly/completely are as spiritual beings having a human experience. Add this prayer to your daily meditations.
Address the sun in this fashion:
The Gayatri ("Sun Prayer")
"You who are the source of all power,
whose rays illuminate the world,
illuminate also my heart
so that it too can do your work". Amen.
"While reciting the "Gayatri", visualize the sun's rays streaming forth into the world, entering your heart, then streaming out from your heart's center and back into world" (The Book of Runes. Ralph Blum). Make sure to bless "Mother Earth" in words and by grounding the energy that flows into you and through your feet to the core molten lava center of the earth and back outward to all.
